Have you experienced a traumatic event and finding it hard to get over?
Are you feeling depressed, low or anxious and need support?
Would you like your life to change but unsure how to change it?
If you answered yes to any of the above, then maybe counselling could help you.
My name is Serina Lyn, I am an experienced integrative counsellor and a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). I have experience working with adults and children who have a variety of issues and specialise in working with those who have experienced domestic violence and mental health issues.
I offer a safe and confidential environment, where we can discuss anything that is causing you pain and distress. My role is to be with you on your journey as you work towards dealing with challenges and any difficult situations you are facing.
Using an integrative approach, I am able to combine different counselling
approaches and tailor them to fit my client’s needs. For example, I could use
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) to help you identify unhelpful thoughts and
thinking patterns also use Psychodynamics to see where those unhelpful thoughts have come from.
I know taking the first steps to exploring the difficulties you are facing can be challenging and painful but from personal experience I know it can also be empowering. Counselling can allow you to rediscover who you truly are and the life you want to live.
